I photograph weddings the way I see them: softly, and without fuss. I keep to the edges of the day, watching for the real things rather than arranging them. A glance across the room, or a hand held a little tighter than before.
My work is low-light and painterly by nature, so candlelit churches and grey-sky gardens suit it well. You won’t find me calling out poses all afternoon. A few gentle portraits aside, the day is yours to live, and mine to remember for you.

Before the day
We talk through the shape of it, the people who matter, and the moments you’d hate to miss.
- ii
On the day
I work calmly and mostly unseen, in whatever light the day gives us, indoors or out.
- iii
Afterwards
You’ll receive a finished gallery of the day, and we choose any prints and albums together, in person.

The fine-art approach to weddings.
Fine-art photography is about making something to keep. I work slowly and in low, natural light, paying as much attention to mood and feeling as to likeness. The result sits closer to a painting than a snapshot, something quiet and a little timeless that you’ll want to live with for years. Every image is finished by hand, one frame at a time.

A £99 booking fee secures your date and comes off the collection you choose. I photograph throughout Hertfordshire and Essex with no travel charge, and travel further by arrangement. Weddings and larger commissions are quoted on their own, so tell me about yours and I’ll shape something to fit.
Fine-art prints & framing. Prints and framed pieces, along with albums if you’d like them, are chosen together in person at your private viewing after the shoot. Your photographs are made to live on a wall, not just a screen.
Frequently asked.
Do you photograph full days?
Yes. Most weddings are best told from the morning’s quiet through to the first dances. Tell me your timings and we’ll plan the coverage together.
What does a wedding cost?
Weddings are quoted on their own, since no two days are alike. Send me your date and a little about your plans and I’ll put together something that fits.
Do you travel?
I cover Hertfordshire and Essex without a travel charge, and I’m glad to go further afield for the right wedding.
